Objective: The purpose of the study was to formulate and evaluate sintered gastro retentive tablets Vildagliptin using design experiments. Methods: Direct compression is process by which are compressed from powder mixture API suitable excipients done an automatic punching machine 6 mm punch. Prepared were kept in hot air oven at three different temperatures 50°C, 60°C, 70°C for periods 1, 2, 3 h.
